Fred holds a  B.S. in Education from Truman State University in Missouri and Master and Doctorate Degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri.

With nearly 40 years of  experience in industrial water treatment, Fred has held various positions in industrial water treatment as field sales & service representative, cooling water product specialist, cooling water marketing manager, regional technical manager, manager of sales, technical support & manufacturing, and senior technical consultant.

He has served as a technical expert and expert witness.

Fred has authored over 30 proprietary application technical articles on water treatment covering open and closed cooling systems, boiler water treatment, odor control, ground water treatment, well remediation, and clam and mussel control.

He is the primary author of 6 patents concerning the ammonia industry, ground water remediation, down well treatment and chlorine dioxide generation.
